1. Purpose of IR and basic stance
The objective of investor relations programs at MONEY PARTNERS GROUP is to ensure that the group is properly evaluated by shareholders, investors, securities analysts and other stakeholders. We constantly exercise care to conduct investor relations activities based on sincerity. Our basic stance is to supply information about management policies, business strategies, finances and other subjects in a manner that is easy to understand, fair, timely and accurate. In addition, we do not supply any specific information solely to a particular party.
2. Basic stance regarding disclosure activities
MONEY PARTNERS GROUP is dedicated to the fair and speedy disclosure of information in order to prevent the concentration of information among certain parties or individuals. Significant corporate information is announced quickly in accordance with "Rules concerning Timely Disclosure Prescribed by the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law" and with the "Rules concerning Timely Disclosure of Corporate Information by Issuers of Listed Securities" of the Osaka Securities Exchange. Information to which laws, regulations and timely disclosure rules are not applicable is made public on the MONEY PARTNERS GROUP Web site to the greatest extent possible in order to meet the expectations of shareholders and other investors.
3. Method of disclosure
For information where disclosure is prescribed by timely disclosure rules and laws and regulations, announcements are made using the prescribed disclosure methods, including the Timely Disclosure Network (TDNet) of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, securities report and other methods. For other types of information, we exercise care to make this information available to shareholders, other investors and securities analysts in a manner that is as accurate and fair as possible. Following the disclosure of information, we post this information promptly on the "Information for shareholders and investors" section of the group Web site.
4. Earnings forecasts and other forward-looking statements
MONEY PARTNERS GROUP announces operating results every quarter to keep the public up to date about the group's performance. The group includes MONEY PARTNERS CO., LTD. ("MONEY PARTNERS" hereafter), which is engaged in the Financial Instruments Trading business (Foreign Exchange Margin Trading business). The performance of MONEY PARTNERS is highly vulnerable to the environment for financial markets, including market movements and market liquidity, as well as to changes in the economies of Japan and other countries. Since this uncertainty makes it difficult to determine earnings forecasts, the MONEY PARTNERS GROUP does not announce forecasts. In addition, forward-looking statements by the group are the group's outlook as of the time the announcement is made. These statements may have to be revised without prior notice due to the potential for changes in premises used for forecasts and the operating environment. Furthermore, earnings forecasts for MONEY PARTNERS GROUP by securities analysts, individuals at research publications and other third parties reflect solely the opinions of these individuals and have no relation whatsoever with the group.
5. Establishment of silent period
MONEY PARTNERS GROUP has a silent period that begins at the end of each fiscal quarter and ends when the earnings announcement for that fiscal period is made. The purpose is to prevent information leaks that could affect the stock price during the time that financial statements are being prepared. During the silent period, employees of the group are not allowed to speak to shareholders, investors, securities analysts or media representatives about the group's financial statements, results of operations and the outlook, or forecasts.
6. IR policy
MONEY PARTNERS GROUP takes many actions to be certain that its investor relations policy is strictly observed. The group's investor relations department responds quickly to questions from shareholders, other investors and securities analysts. We limit the handling of investor relations activities to this department for the purpose of protecting the group and group employees with regard to legal obligations concerning provisions of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law and other laws and regulations.
